Pokemon Pearl is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS in 2006. It is part of the fourth generation of the Pokemon series and is set in the fictional region of Sinnoh.
In Pokemon Pearl, players take on the role of a Pokemon trainer who embarks on a journey to become the champion of the Sinnoh region. They must capture and train various Pokemon creatures, battle against other trainers, and defeat the eight Gym Leaders to earn badges that grant access to the Elite Four and the Champion.
