"Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero" is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom. It is a re-release of the original "Resident Evil Zero," which was originally released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2002. The "Resident Evil Archives" series brings classic Resident Evil titles to newer platforms with updated graphics and other enhancements.
"Resident Evil Zero" is a prequel to the original "Resident Evil" game, set before the events of the first game in the series. Players control two protagonists, Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen, as they investigate a series of mysterious murders in the Arklay Mountains. The game retains the series' trademark survival horror gameplay, with players managing limited resources and solving puzzles while fending off zombies and other mutated creatures.
The Wii version of "Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero" utilizes motion controls and the Wii Remote pointer for aiming and interacting with the environment. It also includes additional features such as widescreen support and updated character models.
