Snow Brothers is a classic arcade game that was later ported to various platforms, including the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). It was developed by Toaplan and released in arcades in 1990, with the NES version releasing in 1991.

In Snow Brothers, players control Nick and Tom, two snowmen who must rescue their kidnapped princesses from the evil King Scorch. The game features a single-screen platforming gameplay style, where the objective is to defeat all enemies on each level by trapping them in snowballs and then pushing them off the screen. The enemies are various creatures, such as snow monsters and other mythical creatures.

To defeat enemies, Nick and Tom can generate snowballs by capturing enemies in the snow and rolling the snowballs toward other enemies. If a snowball touches an enemy, it will encapsulate them and allow the player to push or kick the snowball, potentially hitting other enemies in the process. Successfully defeating all enemies within a level allows players to progress to the next one.

Snow Brothers features cooperative multiplayer gameplay, allowing two players to team up and play together simultaneously. The game also includes a variety of power-ups and bonus items that can be collected to enhance gameplay, such as speed boosts or special attacks.

The NES version of Snow Brothers retains the core gameplay of the arcade version, offering a fun and addictive experience for players. While it may not be as well-known as some other NES titles, it still has a dedicated following and is regarded as an enjoyable and challenging game from the era of classic 8-bit gaming.
