We're not just a retro game shop.

We’re a time machine. A clubhouse. A digital rebellion.
And we’re building something legendary.

If you grew up blowing on cartridges, arguing about which Pokémon game was best, or staying up way too late trying to beat that one level—you'll probably fit right in.

Who We Hire

We’re looking for people who:

  • Talk to customers like they talk to friends

  • Love games—like really love them

  • Think fast, meme harder, and don’t take themselves too seriously

  • Can hustle during rush hour and chill when it’s slow

You don’t need a suit.
You don’t need a degree.
But you do need great vibes, a strong work ethic, and a solid knowledge of gaming culture.

Roles We’re Hiring For:

🕹 Store Staff (Etobicoke Location)

You’ll be the heartbeat of Game Hoard—helping customers in-store, managing online orders, and making sure everything runs smooth behind the scenes.
That means:

  • Helping gamers find their next favorite game

  • Running the register like a pro

  • Processing trade-ins (testing, cleaning, valuing, and logging retro gold)

  • Picking and packing online orders

  • Restocking shelves and updating inventory

📅 Availability:

We’re currently hiring for weekends and Mondays — so make sure you’re good to go for those days before applying.

Ready to Join the Hoard?

If you're thinking “this sounds like me”—we want to hear from you.

📹 Record a quick Loom video (1–2 min) telling us:

  • Who you are

  • Why you love games

  • And why you want to work at Game Hoard

Then email it along with your resume (or whatever best shows off your experience) to:

📧 sales@gamehoard.com

We read every message. We watch every video.

But heads up: Applications without a Loom video won’t be considered—it's part of the process.

Bonus points if:

  • You live near our Etobicoke location (4909 Dundas St W, Etobicoke, ON M9A 1B2)

  • You’ve got experience fixing consoles or handhelds

  • You mention your favorite retro game

Game Hoard is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
