Mario Kart 64 JP refers to the Japanese version of the Nintendo 64 game Mario Kart 64, released in Japan in late 1996. The Japanese version is notable for having a different title screen, different voice acting for characters, a different announcer for the menus, and higher AI difficulty compared to the Western releases.
