"Mario Party" is a party game developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 console. The game was released in 1998 in Japan and North America, and 1999 in Europe and Australia. Players select from a roster of Mario characters and compete in a board game-style gameplay mode, as well as mini-games, with the goal of collecting the most stars and coins to win.
