Pro Wrestling is a professional wrestling video game developed by Nintendo and published by Nintendo of America for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It was released in North America in 1987 and is one of the early wrestling games for the NES.

In Pro Wrestling, players can choose from a selection of six different wrestlers, each with their own unique moves and characteristics. The playable characters are:

  1. Fighter Hayabusa: A balanced wrestler with a good mix of speed and power.
  2. Star Man: A high-flying wrestler known for his acrobatic moves.
  3. The Amazon: A massive wrestler with a focus on power moves.
  4. Kin Corn Karn: A masked luchador-style wrestler who is quick and agile.
  5. King Slender: A tall and skinny wrestler, whose speed is his advantage.
  6. Giant Panther: A muscular powerhouse with devastating attacks.

The game takes place in a wrestling ring, viewed from an overhead perspective, and players must use various moves and attacks to defeat their opponents. The controls are relatively simple, with different combinations of button presses and directional inputs producing different moves.

Pro Wrestling features an array of moves, including punches, kicks, body slams, suplexes, and signature moves unique to each character. Players can execute special finishing moves to pin their opponents for a three-count and secure victory.

The game offers both single-player and multiplayer modes, allowing players to compete against each other or challenge the computer-controlled opponents. In single-player mode, players progress through a series of matches against different wrestlers, leading up to the final showdown with the "Great Puma," the champion of the game.

Pro Wrestling was well-received for its fun and fast-paced gameplay, especially for its time. While the graphics and sound are relatively simple compared to modern wrestling games, it captured the essence of professional wrestling and offered an enjoyable experience for NES players and wrestling enthusiasts of that era.
