Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World is an action role-playing game developed by Namco Tales Studio and published by Namco Bandai Games for the Wii console. It is a direct sequel to the popular GameCube game, Tales of Symphonia.
In Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, players are introduced to a new protagonist named Emil Castagnier, who embarks on a journey in a world devastated by the events of the first game. Along the way, Emil encounters familiar faces from the original game and new characters as they work together to unravel the mysteries surrounding the world's turmoil.
The gameplay in Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World combines real-time action battles with elements of traditional role-playing games. Players control a party of characters, engaging in battles against enemies using a system called the "Evolved Flex Range Linear Motion Battle System." This system allows for more freedom of movement and expanded combat mechanics compared to the first game.
Throughout the game, players can recruit and form pacts with various monsters called "Centurions," who grant special powers and abilities to the party. These monsters can be leveled up and customized to suit different strategies and playstyles.
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World also features an extensive storyline with multiple branching paths and choices that affect the narrative and character relationships. The game offers side quests, exploration, and the ability to revisit locations from the previous game.
The graphics in Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World are presented in a vibrant anime art style, and the game features fully voiced dialogue for the main storyline.
