"Thunder Blade" is an arcade-style action game originally developed by Sega. It was later ported to various home consoles, including the Sega Master System. The game was initially released in arcades in 1987 and then made its way to the Master System in 1988.
In "Thunder Blade," players take control of a helicopter equipped with powerful weapons, including missiles and a machine gun. The gameplay combines both top-down and third-person perspectives. In the top-down sections, players navigate through the skies, avoiding obstacles and engaging enemy aircraft. In the third-person sections, the perspective shifts behind the helicopter, offering a more detailed view of the terrain and allowing players to target ground-based enemies.
The Master System version of "Thunder Blade" aimed to replicate the arcade experience within the technical capabilities of the home console. While the graphics and sound may not have been as advanced as the arcade version, it still provided an enjoyable helicopter action experience for Master System players.
